Sokchea Kampot Hotel

We stumbled upon this place a bit outta town, just perfect for that sweet balance of quietude and accessibility. We had a hunch it'd be serene, based on other reviews and our own road-worn instincts. And boy, were we chuffed with what we found! The staff? Top-notch, mate. The hotel? Clean as a whistle and safe as houses. And get this: they've got a fridge in the room, so I was set with my own stash of brews. But hey, if the thirst got real, they've got a wee bar to top up. And talk about convenience – just a dollar and a quick hop on a tuk-tuk, and you're smack dab in town, only five minutes away! Sure, they offer a shuttle service, but who needs it when you're living life on your terms, right? Cheers to finding the perfect spot to kick back and unwind, my friend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. The room was well-appointed, clean, and cozy, offering a great night's sleep.

This hotel is not in the busy part of town, which is a bonus as we were able to listen to the birds chirping. The hotel is built around a lovely big pool and lush gardens. They provide a free tuk tuk into town, and it is only $1 us to get back. The hotel room was a good size with a very big comfortable bed and balcony looking down on the pool. The staff were very accommodating to get our washing done on the same day at a reasonable price for a hotel. There is no breakfast provided which wasn't a problem for us...just expect you will need to go out for breakfast.

Lovely pretty looking hotel, large comfortable rooms & large comfortable bed with lovely quality bedlinen & bath towels. Nice added extras with slippers & bathrobes & toiletries restocked daily. Good size swimming pool which all rooms appear to overlook. Great location just on the outskirts of Kampot. Complimentary hotel Tuk Tuk will drop you at Starbucks. Staff very polite & helpful. Soft drinks & beers available to purchase, plus croissants with jam for breakfast if required. No restaurant but not a problem as food can easily be ordered & delivered to the hotel via food panda.

Great new hotel run by Chhai and his family - rooms are whisper quiet and solid, super clean with great water pressure and a/c. A free tuk tuk shuttle to middle of town (starbucks) from morning to night makes it easy to get there for meals. Chhai organised our Phnom Penh one way transport to Kampot at a very competitive rate as well. Pool is fantastic and a welcome relief from a hot day of touring at the Pepper Farm and Kep.
